Diablo 4 players are impatiently waiting to what the Vessel of Hatred DLC will introduce to Sanctuary. Despite its initial pricing controversy, Blizzard have only officially confirmed a few details regarding their first-ever expansion of their legendary ARPG.
Besides a brand-new class and region, players are expecting a narrative that introduces more endgame activities to put their builds to the test. So without further ado, here’s everything you need to know about Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred DLC.

Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred release window
Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred will drop somewhere around late 2024. So you can expect to get your hands on the DLC somewhere around October-December, 2024.
This is everything available right now regarding the release date, as the devs have not yet revealed the exact date of the expansion’s release.
Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred leaked pricing
Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred’s possible pricing options were leaked by YouTuber Bellular News, who claimed to have a confidential Blizzard survey that described what Blizzard was planning for the franchise’s pricing strategy for add-ons.
This leak allegedly revealed Diablo 4’s first DLCs prices, which included four tiers of $49.99, $69.99, $79.99, and $99.99.

Although the devs haven’t revealed many details about the Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred’s storyline, in a recent data mining leak, fans reportedly found out several details about the upcoming DLC expansion.
Leakers found out that this expansion is set to be focussed around Mephisto, which may have been confirmed by Blizzard’s announcement trailer where we can hear Mephisto’s voice. Plus, the expansion is called Vessel of Hatred, which indicates a strong presence of Mephisto as he is the Lord of Hatred in the Diablo franchise.
Aside from Mephisto, a returning region from Diablo 2 known as Kurast, has also been revealed by the leakers. This is also likely to be present in the game as we can see a jungle area in the trailer, which looks very similar to Kurast.
Another leak posted by Youtuber YbuBaKa reported that the new class could be the never-seen-before Spiritborn, a type of character whose power revolves around nature magic.
Keep in mind that these leaks weren’t confirmed by Blizzard yet, so take them with a grain of salt until the Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred official update.
