Wuthering Waves banner schedule: Expected version 1.0 characters

Wuthering Waves will go live on May 22, 2024, and here are the first characters that are expected to be featured in the limited banner in version 1.0.

Similar to every other gacha title, Kuro Games’ upcoming Wuthering Waves will feature a banner system where new and returning characters will be pooled together.

Here is what the limited banners could look like in the very first version of the open-world RPG, as well as all the potential standard banner units.

Kuro Games have not confirmed any banners for Wuthering Waves. But given that we know Jiyan and Yinlin are the only two limited-banner characters from all those revealed for launch, it is likely that they’ll be the rate-up characters for the first version. 

If we go by the recent closed beta test, here is what the first-ever Character Event banner will look like: 

• 5-star character: Jiyan – Aero | Broadblade
• 4-star characters:
  • Mortefi – Fusion | Pistols
  • Chixia – Fusion | Pistols
  • Danjin – Havoc | Sword

Past that, the next limited banner character will be Yinlin. We do not know what phase-wise schedule Kuro Games will follow, but we’ll update whenever we learn more.

The featured weapon in the Wuthering Weapon Event banner is likely to be Verdant Summit (Broadblade), if Jiyan is the rate-up unit.

Wuthering Waves 1.0 will have the following 5-stars in the permanent banners for weapons and characters:

Character Permanent banner:

• Calcharo – Electro | Broadblade
• Encore – Fusion | Rectifier
• Jianxin – Aero | Gauntlets
• Lingyang – Glacio | Gauntlets
• Verina – Spectro | Rectifier

Weapon Permanent banner:

• Emerald of Genesis (Sword)
• Abyss Surges (Gauntlets)
• Static Mist (Pistols)
• Cosmic Ripples (Rectifier)
• Lustrous Razor (Broadblade)

Wuthering Waves expected Novice banner rate-ups

The Novice Banner in Wuthering Waves is for new players and will last up to 50 pulls. Within those 50 pulls, you’ll be guaranteed one of these 5-stars: 

• Calcharo – Electro | Broadblade
• Encore – Fusion | Rectifier
• Jianxin – Aero | Gauntlets
• Lingyang – Glacio | Gauntlets
• Verina – Spectro | Rectifier

Similar to many other Novice wishes in gacha games, you’ll need a limited banner Convene, Radiant Tides, for the Novice banner.
