EA College Football 25 is the name that has been on the minds of football fans for a long time. This new title from EA Sports aims to continue the NCAA Football series that Electronic Arts discontinued after the release of the 2013 installment.

EA College Football 25 release date

EA College Football 25 will be released on July 19, as confirmed by EA Sports. Finally, it’s worth noting that the full reveal of EA College Football is set for May 17, devs confirmed on the game’s official website.

How to play EA College Football 25 early

Fans who can’t wait until July 19 can play EA College Football 25 up to three days before its release by pre-ordering the Deluxe edition of the game.

In addition to securing some exclusive in-game bonuses, players will be able to access EA College Football 25 starting from July 16.

All EA College Football 25 editions

EA College Football 25 has two editions: Standard and Deluxe.

The Standard edition costs $69.99/£69.99 and includes the base game. On the other hand, the Deluxe edition costs $99.99/£99.99 and, in addition to the base game, offers 3-day early access and multiple in-game bonuses to give you an edge in all the available game modes.

Quinn Ewers, Donovan Edwards, and Travis Hunter are the cover athletes for EA College Football 25, featured on both the Standard and Deluxe editions.

EA College Football 25 platforms

EA College Football 25 will only be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. EA Sports confirmed this after revealing the cover and all editions of the game. Consequently, players on last-gen consoles and PCs will have to wait for a potential update to enjoy NCAA football once again.

EA College Football 25 game modes

EA Sports have confirmed three game modes for EA College Football 25 so far: Ultimate Team, Road to Glory, and Dynasty Mode.

According to the pre-order bonuses, EA College Football 25 will follow in the footsteps of the Madden franchise and will feature its Ultimate Team Mode. This mode allows players to create their dream team with the best football players from both the current and all-time NCAA rosters.

Road to Glory and Dynasty Mode. Electronic Arts General Manager Daryl Holt confirmed this in an interview with ESPN. While there are no details yet, these game modes are expected to be the traditional Career and Franchise modes.

In Road to Glory, you’ll be able to create your own player and start from scratch in pursuit of glory in EA College Football 25; while in Dynasty Mode, you can become the coach of a college team and lead it to success season after season.

College Football 25 licenses

FOS posted the description of EA College Football 25 on the PlayStation Store, confirming that there will be 134 schools in the game. This also means that all regional and national championships of the NCAA are expected to be in the game.

Regarding the players, EA Sports confirmed on the game’s X account that over 10,000 athletes are officially in the game, giving an idea of the magnitude of the database that EA College Football 25 will have.
